Oh Acting! My first love...

I was nine years old and grumpy. But my Mom would not have it! She dragged me to go and see her production of West Side Story, at my Dad's church, starring my brother as Bernardo. That was the day I fell in love with acting! From there on out, I jumped at almost every chance I could to be on stage. Improvisation classes, school productions, musicals, plays... creating and depicting characters became my greatest passion in life. Even though ideas for other careers popped into my mind every now and then, I eventually just came to terms with the fact that there really was no fulfilling alternitive for me. So I went for it! After graduating from the Gymnasium I enrolled in Acting School in Berlin in 2011 and finished my degree in Munich in 2014 with honors. I've been working as a freelance artist ever since.

 

Acting to me is the epitome of empathy. It continues to teach me how to come to terms with and grow beyond myself. It gives me the opportunity to look at issues and people I might otherwise seldom come in contact with. It forces me to dig deeper, understand better and feel greater. But most importantly... it's a heck of a lot of fun! ;)
